Welcome to Witch's Brew! You play as a witch named Broomie! She is trapped in a graveyard full of monsters trying to get revenge for her misdeeds when they were among the living. You must use your magical abilities to slay the monsters and survive as long as you can. Along the way, you will find monster parts that you can brew to create potent effects or point boosts!

This game was created as a two week challenge for Halloween 2024. In real time, it was built in about 21 hours! I used assets from OpenGameArt and the main theme of the game was inspired by amazing assets from LimeZu's Modern Exteriors Pack which you can get for an amazing price here on Itch. For a full list of assets used and their credits, check out the credits in the main menu.

If you'd like to watch Titanium Clad Studios create more games, feel free to drop by Twitch. Otherwise, if you want to connect with me and other amazing aspiring game devs/gamers, hop in to our Discord.

Because this was a bit of a jam game, you can expect bugs. However, I hope you enjoy your time playing, and any feedback is greatly appreciated.

It was a fun experience! :) I liked the combat and the fluid movement and the layout felt good. I think you have the bones of an amazing game and it could really shape up with the addition of some new creatures that have ranged attacks, maybe ghosts that go through buildings, and then some additional functionality with the cauldron.

Some feedback I would give would be to show a score pop up when you interact with the cauldron to really cement in what was happening. I was trying to see if anything was happening to my spells or hell and then noticed it was just score (unless I missed something).

Some minor bugs I did notice were the fireballs collided with each other so it felt a tad bit clunk and if there were still monsters left at the end, and you killed them, it would do another timer and effectively skip levels. I made it to level 25 but I think I was only technically on level 15 or 16. There was a bit of pathfinding problems with the enemies as well and they would get stuck a lot.

Overall it was cool and I ended with this score.

Thanks so much for playing Scary! Can't wait to share progress as I continue to add updates and features.
